August Theater Sizzles with Iowa Improv Fest and RENT

The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer continue throughout the month of August, but there are some great events to catch this month.

The Iowa Improv Fest, hosted by Des Moines troupe the Comedy XPeriment, features improv troupes from Des Moines, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, and Omaha. Each night's performance will feature a twenty-five minute set from each troupe and a closing jam session. Performances will be held the August 3-4 at the Stoner Theater.
